There's a biscuit on the table A glass of milk too never in my wildest dreams Did I expect to see you I snuck out of my bed took a peek behind the door I blinked once then once more Still it was you I saw It was you santa standing there Writing me a note Thanking me for the cookie's You'd just stuffed down your throat I will never forget my surprise On that Christmas night Next time santa I'll tell mum To upgrade you to a sprite My daughter when she was 4 wondered why we always gave Santa a glass of milk and why couldn't he have a glass of sprite lemonade and so I wrote this for her.
