The dictionary describes mother As a female parent Simple, plain, with no pizzazz No warmth is there apparent. After considering carefully What mother is to me I've come up with many qualities Of all that which I see. A mother first is love She cherishes all things She's full of patience and forgives And while she works she sings. She is diligent in all she does In honesty she cares she forgives in mercy And with those in need she shares. She raises children in the faith She shows a cheerful heart Passing on the qualities They'll need when they depart.
