Love is the passion in a lover's sweet glance
And the quiet smile which it forever envokes
Love is the sad tears over a final dance
And how you laugh at all of his jokes

Love is how you face the storm to see her face
And how her fair face lights up when she sees you
Love is in your sweet kisses, softer than lace
How you support them no matter what they do

Love is within your warm and welcoming hug
And watching them in slumber; calm and peaceful
Love is curling up on the couch; nice and snug
And just sitting there and watching them, so cool

Love is having someone when you're in trouble
Someone that you can count on to make you smile
Love is someone who makes your joy double
And to calm your fears when you're in denial

Love's looking in his eyes, knowing he's the one
The way she whispers sweet nothings in your ear
Love is the one with whom you'll always have fun
And knowing they are the one you hold most dear

Love is taking the time to bandage his knee
And being the one to get to know her
Love is when they are the only one you can see
And could think of abandoning them, never

Baby, I do believe love is you and I
Because I am yours, and you'll always be mine
And when I am with you my heart sails so high
Will you make me smile and be my Valentine?
