January 17th is Martin Luther King Day, in celebration of his birthday! The challenge for you (should you accept it) is to write a poem that includes the phrase "I have a dream"...it would be great if it was written about freedom and/or equality, but it's ok if it isn't.  Just use the phrase.  Good luck!

I had a dream
Oh God will I be senseless this year too?
Every man be he of any color is the same to me
Every dreamer a human being

All of us bonded by our fears
Some choose to be blind
Little children blaming older, younger brother
Be sister or mother too.

No love toward the other one
If not to look within
To see it's just blood and skin

A light within
Wouldn't you think?
It looks the same to all

There is no color to light
When it's looked upon with the heart
And not the eyes
