I thought this poem would suit the ocassion, and I wanted to share it with all the folks her in Passions.
It is by a Author named D Edmond Miller. My sister sent me a small book containing some of his poems, very nice work indeed.

That trees grow green.
That the sky is vast
And filled with stars
of other worlds.
That our earth spins,
Axis tilted at precise degree.
That flora and fauna flourish.
That each year's infants
Learn to smile, to grasp,
To care.
That hands reach out
To other hands,
Can touch, can feel.
That hearts beat.
That there is love,
That thus there's hope
For peace.

D Edmond Miller
