On the mantle in my mindset's memory I see a Buddha smiling back at me cherishing this display: a graceful bonsai cherry blossom tree the snow capped miniature of Mt. Fuji New Year's Day, always honoring tradition filled with pride memories of the ancients hopes of the new souls thankfulness for all of nature's bounty given generously by an ever forgiving God Happy Holidays dearest b'chan and g'chan Shiba [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (12-10-2002 10:54 AM).] |

Eliza, hello! I'm not a follower of any one religious persuasion, but love the ceremonial thank yous and many many aspects of Buddhist philosophy and tradition, same as for a few other religions. EA, thanks! I feel the same, I attempt to honor all of them, equally. My own POV and beliefs are a conglomeration. |
