Acknowledgement Inside this hallowed cathedral created of your adobe, I do not genuflect, you would merely laugh at my feeble stab at reverence, laugh at my off-balance bow to all you have wrought. A votive, I light, adding my small flicker to the red glow of others, so many others have held on tightly to the comfort of your hands. I pray that I will practice lessons you have taught, pray I won’t need reminders to put aside selfishness and embrace the needs of others.
