I can feel the spring air
warming my senses.
Bringing to life
what winter has stilled.

Inspiring my soul
and enlivening my spirit.
Awakening desires
wanting to be fulfilled.

And with it a message
carried on a fragrant breeze.
Whispered by angels
and sent special to me.

Asking my stilled heart
to open up and recieve.
The breath of new life.
Was it's silent decree.
I know it is a little early for spring but i am just excited about it's coming. The winter seemed to long this year.

Suzanne, my husband and I came "home" (Texas) today and on the way, saw Indian Paintbrush, Blue Bonnets, Pink Bud bushes, Iris, etc. It was a beautiful ride for the end of February. And then I got a call from one of my kids in my other "home" (Michigan)and they were having freezing rain and below 0 temps. Boy talk about ready for spring!! I do wish I could send some of this beautiful green and lovely flowers up there! Hope you get to enjoy the "pre" spring. Enjoyed your poem. ME

not that early for Spring....it's only 21 days away!!!!!

Anyway nice one here.......very nice.

I loved this part of the poem! I like the spring and am glad it is here now. Sorry so late in responding to this I haven't been in Holiday Cheer in a while and this caught my eye. Good luck opening your heart to someone this spring. Also enjoy the beauty of it, everything coming alive and fresh! Take care!
