Crystal ice floats through the air, Stars shimmer in the night, The steeple in the distance Gives off a glistening light. Pine trees dressed in fallen snow, Ribbons on each limb, Colored lights of red and green, A sleigh filled to the brim. Plumes of smoke from chimneys, Rise up through the sky, Angels holding candles, Their wings prepared to fly. Behind the frosted windows, A lighted Christmas tree, Children peeking from inside, In hopes that they might see; Santa and his reindeer, Passing 'fore the moon, As the carolers in the snow, Sing their Christmas tune. Bayberry scents and mistletoe, Complete this treasured scene, On this holy Christmas eve, This one night, so serene. |

What a wonderful poem. It hit the spot today! Thanks! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

Beautiful, just beautiful! I, too, while reading it, thought I'd love to sent a Christmas card with such colorful poetic scenery and underlying message. Thank you for sharing this gem. |
