Invisible Men Dad died, a accident at work I still a fetus, Mom waiting to give birth Birth sprang forward Making Grandma, Mom and I Love bestowed unto me, Two of which invisible for me to see A mystery lies beneath the scenes from infancy to early teens Mom taught me of the love my Dad had for me Grandma taught me how much Jesus loved we three Two men, invisible to see Both loving me and I loved each of them Invisible men, very real to me, Dad's pictures on a shelf with Mom's loving words Jesus pictures on the wall Grandma speaking of His love Jesus was grown, older than my Dad when He died upon the cross that all men should live My Dad now lived in Heaven with Jesus, up above Impossible! it would have been that I not believe: for if I had a Dad, Then Jesus died for me My invisible men were watching over me As I spoke my prayers each night To Jesus up above I always asked Jesus to give my Dad a hug [This message has been edited by Alle'cram (edited 05-22-2000).] |

Marcy, This is very touching piece, which you have shared with us of yourself, and we appreciate it.It tells me of several things: Of a sense of loss, of that which you never knew personally, but thanks to a gracious loving mother, His memory was keep alive-and thus his impact could also be felt/Of a sense of Gaining through a loving Grandmother, who did her best, to introduce you to someone also you have never seen-but Helped make Him real in your life/and thirdly, it speaks wonderfully of the impact of the unseen--and calls to my mind the verses ![]() "GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." (German Proverb) |

Marcy this was very touching! I'm glad they kept your Dad's memory alive. Also that they taught you of Jesus. I'm left speechless as to what to say to this. I think it's wonderful and it touched me deeply. <*\\\>< God does have a sense humor. Just take a look at the platypus! |

God may have taken your Dad, but he gave you loving and strong women to help you through life...you are blessed... Sunshine Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |
