Reminder of His Love When I came home the other day And set down in my chair The day’s events ran through my mind Causing grief and despair I wish I wouldn’t have got up today Nor even went to work! The things that happened boggled the mind I knew, I couldn’t put this day behind I played the scenes of darkness Over and over in my mind And even wondered what I did to God To make him be so unkind I do not really understand Why God loves me a sinner so The one who forgets the lessons He taught me long ago But in a kind and special way Like a Father so often does He kindly and gently reminded me, of his love My gaze somehow directed To a picture on the wall Of a rainbow after a storm It reminded me of his promises And that he is always there To counsel and guide me If Id come to him in prayer I do not have to tell you The next thing that was done But lesson was relearned A soul renewed A hallelujah sung! |

Woohoo Geo! He set the bow in the clouds as a reminder to Himself of His promises. It is also a great reminder to us as well. I'm so glad there was a Praise the Lord in there! Sometimes as the story goes, we get too busy and troubles fall around us, and we question God what has happened. But all along we forgot to start our day in Prayer, and asking for His guidance through our day! Wonderful message! I enjoyed it very much  |
