Cancer AGAIN? was posted on 2-5-2000 Cousin Rosie, a very young widow Has experienced blow after blow Cancer took her hubby when their son was 3 Three years later her mom's was removed by surgery January, her 8 year old son, Timmy Began bone cancer chemotherapy He has a 5 day chemo treatment plan Every 3 weeks throughout this years span They leave him sick to his stomach Till about a week before he goes back Plus he's weak and his blood count lowers So has transfusions redeem its powers He braves daily shots and medication Became an honorary member at the fire station For him a fund has been established And they're on many a prayer list. A local concert given by a daughter and mom Raised some funds to help them carry on The firestation also contributed a check So prayers are at work but we're not through yet. Rosie's workplace is going to pay For her 3 month leave that began in May We thank God for each of you out there He hears your kind continued prayer. |

Sandgrain - I remember the first post about this. This poor little guy, and as I send up prayers for the blessings of my healthy boys, I will continue the prayers for Timmy and his Mom. Bonnie |

Lord help us if we should ever complain, For we have never been under such strain! The heavy burdens on which some are placed, Should make us not murmur, ourselves to disgrace! Rather we our energies should use to uplift, Those Like Timmy & Mom, who do not share our gifts. Thank you for updating & reminding us, our prayers will be with them. David |

sandgrain, I don't want to scare some of you good folks out there but we are living in the last days. We have prayer request for the many children and loved ones come by each one of us daily. This says to me, I believe in Prayer!! What's stopping Jesus? Us! He tells us, "in the last days He will pour out His spirit unto us", do you know why? So that He may perform miracles and healings in His name! Why? So that the unbeliever may see and believe. We need stronger faith and believe when we ask. Ask believing, knowing He can and He will, praise His holy name.amen I can quote bible scriptures to back up the promises He gives us about these matters, but untill we start praising the Lord and loving Him from our hearts and yielding to Him, we may fall short of these miracles. All he asks is our love and faith. Praise his holy name. amen |

I also shall pray for God's grace and mercy to always be about this mom and son. may I speak a word from my heart to you u made comment on my leaf poem and I thank u for your words what I would like to share with you is that your gift of pen is as special as anyones there is no greater gift than the talent God places within us please don't judge what you are given against anothers gift for yours is just as real and special may he always lead you to the words he wishes to express through you one of his most special children God bless always in Christ Rose Mary Sadie1030 |
