Into prison Joseph
Was thrown
Through no fault
Of his own.

It didn't take long
For the prison warden
To see
That Joseph was not the man
He was accused to be.

Before too long
Joseph was placed in charge
Of all the prisoner's there
And the warden showed
No concern for anything placed
Under Joseph's care.

For his trust in God
Shown like a beacon
To the higher powers
In this which could have been
Another deep dark hour.
