We were all innocent little
babies once.
Small and with many needs.
We needed someone to hold us,
so that we knew we were loved.
Someone to tell us who we really
were,
with unconditional love,
and a heart to cherish us.
Unforunately we all had
human parents.
Imperfect and wounded
themselves.
So the parenting we recieved,
would be to one degree or
another,
far from what we really
deserved.
Hopefully we were taught
about Our Lord.
But not yet of age,
to make our own choice
to follow Him.
As young adults we began
to feel,
something was missing.
An emptiness needing to be
filled.
None of us have ever been
satisfied,
because nothing the world
has to offer,
will ever do that.
We are all in need of a
Savior

Ellie it took me a long time to figure this out. I always searched in others, and always came up disappointed. What we search for is love, and your poem states so well, that we won't find what we search for in the world. We find love, but we get is not what fills our aching needs. That is only found in God, and I truly think He left a hole there on purpose.

You're poem speaks much truth! I am going to print this out if that's alright with you?
