Spring is here. The bulbs planted in the fall are blooming. All the long cold winter, they lay hidden deep in the earth. On snowy dark winter days, I love to think about those bulbs quietly waiting. Alive with the hope of spring. So, my quest, on this journey of life, to find that hope within my soul. For He, upon my creation, surely as spring comes, has planted beauty within me, that I cannot see. Buried, hidden beneath the deep wounds, inflicted upon a child, who was never cherished. As healing comes, so does clarity, little by little. And so, I begin to see, my own springtime of the soul. Those bulbs of Grace planted long ago, begin to blossom. And as they do, I am becoming my own Springtime. The self hatred and lack of self trust, are slowly being replaced, by a belief in my inner goodness, kindness and compassion. As I am affirmed by dear friends, who travel this road with me. Together we encourage each other to blossom into our own unique beauty! And so the hope of Spring is discovered and shared, in the giving of love, one to the other. I wrote this many years ago, and even tho spring isn't quite here yet, I thought it might remind us that it's on it's promised way! 02 |

Another beauty here, Ellie! It is interesting how that nature in many ways mirrors our life and spiritual dimensions. What I like about this poem, is that our spiritual Springtime can come at anytime of the year-even in the dead of winter-spiritually we can be blossoming full of radiant Spiritual filled life. Thanks for another fine poem, David "Our Creativity points to a Higher Creator--we couldn't have just happened, and for what ability we may possess--to God be the glory." -dlw- |

Ellie, this was deeply beautiful. I like how you relate the two together. God does wonders in people's lives, we need to drink from His well of water, His spring of life. Wonderful job Ellie, may your spring come soon. <*\\\>< When you can't make up your mind Which way is right for you, Stop and softly ask yourself, What Would Jesus Do? |

I could smell the freshness of your spring in your writing. It's always amazing how our Lord brings something so beautiful, as your poetry, out of previous hurts and sadness. Thanks for giving us proof of His word. |
