i was asleep
i was alone

Now i Am
and still-
am asleep
and am alone
Despite the claims
of those opposed
to my state of mind
and soul

no christ came
no buddha showed
the doorway to this new abode
you see you can't
unless you find
the perfect door
into my mind

and still beyond
the brains' weak binds
my spirit flashes
beyond my kind

(sigh) Yes, and sometimes it indeed takes a lot to open that door and believe in fully but as your spirit shines so will the strength and purity of your soul!
