We are never to show how we feel, though what we feel is so real. The pain inside, we are supposed to hide. Hold it in and bury it deep, till off a bridge we choose to leap. So far we will fall, seeming never to end, faster and faster until we land. Some will call it, the easy way out, but they know not what it is all about. The pain and sorrow, the dreading tommarow. Always wanting to sleep, but never wanting to wake. And all our problems to our graves we'll take. This one isn't as positive but I was wondering what you all think.? I'd like to thank you all for your help. Thanks< !signature--> [This message has been edited by Nimphf84 (edited 02-05-2000).] |

Where do I begin? Your poem is written nicely, but the subject matter is sore. We don't need to bury our pain or hide it. And there is always another way out than taking our own life. God would not be happy with that at ALL. For to take your life or someone else's in premeditation is murder. And that is taking the life of a child of God and He wouldn't appreciate that at all. We don't have to take anything to the grave with us, but ask forgiveness. With a sincerety it is forgiven. Life goes on after the grave. What we take with us will be our acts from here on earth. The pain that others have caused us, can stay with us if we choose, or we can choose to eventually let that go. The only way to heal is to let it go and try to go on with life, and trust in God. For He is the first and foremost important thing there is! |

Good advice! God does want to take all your pain. He's just waiting for you yo hand it over. You are a loveable child of God!And we all need you around here to write more of your poetry. You have a gift that needs to be shared. 02 |

I agree with Whtdove. I find this very sad. With God you never have to be silent in your pain. He listens, comforts, forgives, holds you in his arms and loves you. Give your life to him and know that tomorrow is a day of new beginnings not endings. You have a beautiful talent Nimphf, stick around and share it. With God it can even be greater. |

I've been in and out of hospitals about seven times since 1942, and every time I survived, mostly because of a wall of prayer around me, raised by loved friends and relatives. The pain decribed so poignantly in your poem is probably much worse than I suffered, or even can imagine. Only God can answer your cry for help, and that answer is Jesus. Please go to Him in prayer or even in wordless meditation, He is really there, the one doctor that will listen to you any time, without previous appointment, like "only on Sundays", and will give you His own special prescription, no "over-the-counter" stuff. Talk to Him, listen to Him, please... Willem |
