Child of My Soul

I found the child, lying next to the stone
Where Angles sat whispering
Of promises known

I closed in, so closely
The Danger to see
Crushed, to the stone
In images of me
The child that I lost
Who leaped in his dream

Upon Gods' Mountain
He dreamed, in his sleep
While clinging to hope
The devil did speak
And a frighten, little child
In fearful, did leap
And the child of my soul
Forever, did sleep

Embraced by Gods' Stone
Where Angels did weep
I sit at his feet
And so, I do weep.....

For this child, saved my Soul
On that day
When he leaped

WOW! What an amazing piece of writing. I read it and re-read it several times and the ending continued to surprise me.

'....And so, I do weep.....
For this child, saved my Soul
On that day
When he leaped.....'

Very, very impressive. Hugs, Marti

Superb feel and message to this and I love your poet's pseudonym! Very clever, yet powerfully humble.

Is that an oxymoron?

That name says to me:

This person writes to release the tension from the flow of words seeking escape, whatever is handy, no matter, the words must come out. Exciting!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

If I haven't yet done so, let me Welcome you to Passions and to Spiritual Journeys...
Unless we become as a little child, we cannot enter into the Kingdom.  I rejoice here because the child of your soul was released to rest now in the loving arms of Jehovah God.  Good job.  -Bob
