Maestro In the quiet of the dawning, I can hear the angel's song And the underlying breezes That help carry it along. In the tumult of the daytime, I can hear the bugles blow, From the Heavenly musicians Who are playing there I know. There's a thrumming in the evening, That must surely be the sound Of the many, little cherubs Who are fluttering around. In the silence then, of midnight, As it sinks into each bone, I've a feeling that God listens From the grandeur of His throne!
