Dream of Tears

In my mind I see borrowed visions,
Bits and pieces of time,
Where reality is felt but not embraced.
I am invisible to surroundings,
Walking on a platform of fog,
That leads me to an unconscious awakening.

This path to perdition,
Seems not that at all.
Placid and colorless this place;
I am deaf to myself
And blind is my soul.

Time is contradictory,
And understanding is futile;
For I am enthralled in many voices,
Some familiar, others eerily haunting.
Ghosts take form within shadows,
As walls have ears and enclose faith.

I absorb my new surroundings,
Breathing in the confusion.
Hurried faces I glimpse;
Pained expressions I feel.
I am now chilled to the bone,
Darkness is now my twin.

Eternal pain we hear,
Screaming and begging for mercy,
As the smell of smoke and burning flesh,
Reaches the senses.
Ambers of orange and yellow
Lick the bottom of our feet,
As we join hands in unity,
Fighting that which laughs in anger;
But we the helpless cry in joy,
Because dream showers will reign on evil,
Sprouting flowers of forgiveness,
As light from the heavens
Rescues my soul from the nightmare.

My eyes are now opened,
Shaking but not remembering,
An experience that warms my cheeks,
With tears of thankfulness.

BRAVO!!! Oh Keith, this is soooooo powerfully intense, sweet friend, yes, His love can rejuvenate all that appears lost in the world and if we can take part in believing in His holiness, all can be saved for us! (sigh) This is fabulous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Keith, thank you for sharing!

The Lord has indeed overcome death and hell, and as you know in your heart, saved you from that nightmare. I pray the clouds of dark confusion will clear and you will praise Him in the clear blue light of His loving mercy and comfort!

How curiously intermingled are light and darkness, heaven and hell, death and life, in your dream remembrances. Vivid and soul devouring imagery here that screams from the inner man......Life over Death. GOD bless you and thank you for sharing.
