Modern Miracle (verses four through ten)

I wanted a revelation
A showing of God's mighty hand
To get this young man's attention
In a way he would understand.

God doesn't always use lightning
Or His strong and thunderous voice.
He'd done that; now He used nudges
To help this young man make a choice.

God isn't just in his Heaven.
He walks with us here on this earth.
He'd been performing miracles
For this beloved child since his birth.

This young man came to ministry
When He found God was all around;
Exhorting and helping His people
To keep all of us homeward bound.

Bold miracles are saved for those
Who still haven't found the right way.
For we who walk along with Him
Have small miracles every day.

God is always with us doing,
Because He is God, what He does.
We'll hear His voice if we listen
For that urgent, relentless buzz.

I hope your prayers are answered in this poem and the young man gets the right directon and stays on the right path. Very nicely penned.

Joyce,

Your poem reminds me to be thankful for what I might consider little "modern day" miracles in my life. So true, GOD does miracles to lead us to Him and then when we come to Him the miracles can become much more common place, but GOD still does little miracles in our lives each and every day. A wonderful conclusion to your earlier poem. Thank you for sharing your Pastor's message. GOD bless.

YAY!!! Oh Joyce, I too believe there is no such thing as a miracle in His love, but if we all turn to Him He will indeed delight us all and we all find everything our heart desires to hep us carry on! Joyce darling girl, this is outstanding writing you have this is utterly utterly perfect writing. I swear darling girl that you get better and better. And Oh how I love it when you write like this, purely poetic perfection wrapped in the truth of HIS power

Thank you 2 dalimit and Betty. This is a part of the poem that I had in earlier about the miracles in our minister's life as a young man. I wrote this one after he gave us our last lesson. Joyce
