Just sitting here looking for answers,
A reason for every why,
How can people be so cruel,
Without ever blinking an eye;
They do their caustic damage,
Destroying the kindest of souls,
With bitter poison from their tongues,
As they try to grab the controls;
Everyone needs Your help Lord,
We need to see Your light,
Both sides need Your loving warmth,
As we continue in this fight;
I need a little help here too,
I just cannot understand,
How can this mess be turned around,
I need You to take my hand;
Neighbors are fighting with neighbors,
Good friendships were just tossed away,
There's no joy felt in this heartache,
That seems determined to stay;
I know that You have been with me,
You walked with me into the crowd,
I felt Your arm 'round my shoulder,
You were there as my head slowly bowed;
I know You made me hold it up,
Knowing that, brought me a smile,
Just one set of footprints ~~
Seems You carried me for awhile;
And as this battle wages on,
As more hearts get filled with pain,
Please wrap us all in Your love,
And end this awful disdain;
There have been too many judgments,
But the truth is known to You,
Please give me the strength to carry on,
And the guidance for what I must do.

Oh Bonnie,

It's so sad when people fight and argue. They think it's just between themselves, but their actions affect so many others. I feel for you my friend. I know what it's like to be in the middle. In the midst of your battle, I am so thankful though that you know the Lord and that he carries you through. Such a wonderful blessing you have to know the Lord and I do pray that your Loved Ones will find some solace and mutual ground. GOD bless you my poet friend.

Bonnie: This is sad and I can sense how troubled you are. I know you will get the help you need from the Lord, but it's too bad the situation exists in the first place.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Bonnie, I can hear the sadness in your words, sweet friend, it too hurts me so much to see this becoming inevitable and how we never seem to learn from these mistakes and learn to forgive rather than establish a domino effect of violence on one another! (big huggssssssss) I too join your prayers and I too hope that somehow He can lead us to the answer of this madness, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much!
