Emotions now spoken, Trust is shared. Hearts engaged, Souls are spared. Unquestioned acceptance, Dedications of love. These moments will remain, Prayers of forgiveness, rise above. Promises of understanding, Committment of Faith. Fate intervenes, Divine love-keeps us safe. Janet Marie *written for a friend who taught me the true meaning of the loving and healing power of forgiveness...thank you DV'C... I miss you... I love you...always... This ones for you too baby...I know you are always with me... ~Searching for the Words~ There just are no words to express what I really need to say... to make you understand-I was lost and you helped me find my way. How does one thank another ... for breathing life back into their soul, For the gifts of love, faith, and trust, allowing me to again feel whole. I am so deeply grateful for the inspiration returned... for the encouragement and honesty, all the lessons learned. Pain from the past had been costly and taken its toll on me, then you taught me about forgiveness-the way it sets us free. So now as my heart still heals...this I need to do... Give to you these simple words ... to express my love, respect, and gratitude. How I can relate to your writing!! Once we attempted to help a victim of a home fire, only to realize later we were the real benefactors as she radiated the reality of Christ in all she did and said, and that was our biggest need. I'm forever thankful to her and to our Lord. |

Janet, I am so touched by this that I could cry. Forgiveness is such a precious gift to give someone. To often in our anger we forget that forgiveness can set ourselves free as well. Your poetry has had a profound way of telling me that it is time to forgive my husband. I believe this is the answer to my prayer I have been asking from God. Thank you so much. God Bless... |

Dear Dovesong... I am SO deeply moved and touched by your words of recognition to my poems here...not because I wrote them...but because of how much I loved and learned from-- the person who inspired them. He was a revelation in my life...his gifts of renewed faith and his examples of forgiveness changed my life. If my words to him-- are an inspiration to you..then it is a continuing gift of his healing love...so it is I... who THANK you ...your acceptance of the poems message,of his gifts...allows me to keep my promises to him...I know he is smiling down on me/us now.
