Job, of old, thus asked his wife,
Being one laid low with strife
"Shall God give us good alone,
Shall not also bad be known?"

The point he made was vital,
And worthy of recital--
As God's creatures, He can choose,
What we gain and what we lose!

We seem to have no problems,
As long as good to us comes.
But if the adverse we see,
Indignant, we cry,"Why me?"

But this lesson, we should learn,
If God's imput, we so yearn
We must not feel, we've been had,
Accept the God and the Bad!

For "all things" can be our friends,
If accepted to God's ends.
They can be for us turned good,
Gifts of God's own Fatherhood.

So with Job, shall we not say,
"God both gives and takes away!"
His Providence is assured,
"Blest be the Name of the Lord!"

Every Day's a Blessing
And Gift-Wrapped from Above,
Share it with another
And Spread the Father's Love!!!

May You come to Know His Best Blessing

This is so true, David, I know I forget that the blessings and lessons learned from adversity, are usually the most precious of all! Beautifully written and truly inspiring! Hugs, Ellie

YAY!!! Oh Daniel, this is so very true, sweet friend, there is a reason why we suffer, for all he wants us to do is make it good in the end when our hearts grow rich in love and strength so we endure the rest of lifes trials! (big hugggssssss) You are a true angel of words, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet David, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
