Beautiful bright shining jewels. "It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel,like a jasper, clear as crystal" NIV Revelations 21:11 A fire in me from loving thee consumes my yearning soul For here am I your knight on high now called to guard your gold And learn to play your wholesome way in clouds of silver dust And so I pray O God today, to give her joy I must. Capture me deep in her sea of warm loving ecstasy Fuse yearning souls into one whole of rainbow glow in Thee Help us to shine radiant wine all though Your Creation In glowing hue, morning dew on ev'ry soul and nation. Purge our mire with cleansing fire as we fly deep into Thee In tightly brightly dashing flashing white'ning, lightning, be Roaring, soaring, thundering all through your blue, merrily Wrap our souls in skins of gold, make pure lights to nights in Thee. Create in us Beautiful pure bright shining jewels lighting The Kingdom. Newell, Your poem is filled with wonderful rhyme and very impeccable meaning. I like your Bible reference here and another good reference I believe would be in Daniel. The books of Daniel and Revelation parallel each other very nicely I think. Anyway, the last chapter of Daniel says, "Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever." I think you've captured this foreseen moment in our future time very well here in your poem. Oh, my dear poet friend, let us shine on together here and ever again on that glorious day. Amen.
