Look Inside

"That man, is that Jesus
Who stands upon the stage
And glares down upon us
With all his inner rage?"

"Perhaps, that is Jesus
Who waits outside the doors
And greets all the members
Of whom each one adores?"

"Maybe, that is Jesus
Who sings with all the rest
And when he gets his turn
Sings only with his best?"

I turned to ask the man
To hear his one reply
And he said to me, "Son,"
With a tear in his eye ...
