Freely Given

For You so Loved the world, You gave
Your only Son that I be saved
From death and sin --An awful grave--
To Everlasting Life.
What Everlasting Life must be
For one that's saved from sin like me,
Now, present in Love's company?
My heart these words express:
Joy! Ecstatic! Glorious too ...
There's no expression that might do
For pure emotions felt for You,
Perhaps, summed up by "Love."
Oh, Love that flows from angel's wing!
Oh, Love that makes all nature sing!
Oh, Love that brings about the spring!
So wondrous given free.
Why, yes it's Love for which I yearn,
The Love I gain without return,
For I, a man, could never earn
This measure of Your Love.
It was Your Love that died for me,
It was Your Love that set me free,
And so Your Love shall always be
Why I might Love today ...

And give Your Love away.

Yes, Bob. All God's power and glory is given throught Christ. And it is all freely given in God's pure Love.

BRAVO!!! Yes, yes, His love is without boundaries and is never under rug swept, for it is infinite and its essence is a well that never dries out and will always imbue in each of our hearts as He died for us all and our blood flows freely with His unconditional love He wishes us all to share to one another! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, may we all embrace His word always and spread harmonys hope to the world openly, we all love you so much, God Bless You! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Bob, this is so beautifully expressed. It's really taxing to come up with new adjective for your work. I loved it. Cheryl

Bob, dear friend, I know how difficult it is to find words to describe the emotions we feel as we experience His awesome Love. You have exquisitely expressed that love in this poem and I am blessed by your words. Thank you.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

What is Love?
Jesus is the answer
no greater love hath he.
To lay down his life for us ,
Greater is he that is in me.
Bob enjoyed the poem.
