Darkness Does Not Hide Us Unto the Lord, there is no night. His eyes see through the dimmest light. The darkness is a gift of rest For all of us who find it best To sleep within the nighttime's hours. Some birds seek their leafy bowers And animals who sleep by day, Come out to hunt the night away. This cycle that He's put in place, Is suited for the human race, As He decided long ago. Perhaps He wanted us to know The moon and stars as they appear In the highest atmosphere And understand He meets our needs. In dark or light, our pleas He heeds.   BRAVO!!! Oh Betty, this is so very true, this is wonderful! (kiss on cheek) He will always be here for us all, for day is light and night is darkness and He will always guide us through both light and darkness, blanketing us with faith as we sleep and love! It's reassuring that GOD never sleeps and is always present to meet our needs during both night and day. As for me, I definitely am not nocturnal... I'd make a lousy cat. And the end of your poem is again very reassuring to know that GOD expressed His Love to me when Christ died at Calvary. This is always a good reminder for us all.
