We started out this day with You,
With prayer and pure elation too,
For You have triumphed o'er the grave
Where You'd been lain, our souls to save.

And then we gathered with our kin,
To celebrate Your holy win.
You graced our table as we ate.
We served You up with every plate.

And now before I lay my head
For well earned rest upon my bed,
I pause to offer prayer anew,
To thank You for this day and You.

Joyce, thank you for this beautiful sweet prayer! Especially the lines:

BRAVO!!! Oh my gosh, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I pray that this Easter we can all get closer to Jesus, which is what Easter is all about, and while we weep of His sacrifice, we also celebrate how He saved us all with his rebirth of Love! (wipes tears) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyuce, thank you for sharing!
