More~

More than your tongue,
more than your token acts,
more than the casting
of sin in the sea,

Knowing you
as companion---
open with truth
naked of mind
and heart.

Toes that face
the path lain forth,
Ears that hear
the music of life,
Hands that give,
and toil, and love,
Arms that bear
the strength I give.

These things
without waver,
disputing doubt,
not double-minded
in your faith
but ever steadfast
in words you say.

Where footsteps show--
obedience, love.
Where deeds display
the truth of Me
For all to witness,
for all to see.
