Like David

"The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham"
KJV Mathew 1:1

David was God's chosen boy
as King Saul became evil and went astray
David played the harp and sang sweet psalms
almost every day.

David faced the huge Philistine giant, Goliath
with a slingshot, killed him dead
and then he killed the Pharisees
tens of thousands so they said.

David saw lovely Bathsheba
bathing naked in her pool.
Sent her husband off to war
to die, an act, very, very cruel.

To David, Bathsheba bore Solomon
the wisest man on earth
until the Christ in Bethlehem
brought love from God to every man.

From David's own seed, Christ was called the Son of Man.

As God sent Angel Gabriel with David's seed to be the earthly father
of God's Spirit of Love, His begotten son
Jesus Christ.

So Christ was from the line of David
through Abraham, from our loving God
and though David sinned, as do all men
God loved David, spared His rod
forgiving David, every sin
when David repented and asked for forgiveness.

Now you and I are loved by God
like God loved David, too
so don't expect a loving God to ever abandon you
when you do what men and women choose to do.

God loves you deeply in spite of everything bad you do
and all he really wants from you
is your love, too.

Like David, who loved God with all his heart
more than any other man would do.

Yes, you, too, can repent and be saved.

Like David.

Yes God loved David in spite of his evil sins so there is no doubt he will love us if we ask him.  Joyce

Yes, Joyce, God always love us! But unless we accept His love, it is a failed transaction. We are lost.

BRAVO!!! Yes, God loved David too, despite some of the troublesome burdens he created, but if we always look up to Him, we can always repent ourselves just by loving Him in return, as He will reach out to all of us and heal our wounds! (big hugggsssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Newell, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
