Kissing Jesus Feet

At His cross, Mary knelt,
Her face was torn with grief.
A monumental loss she felt,
His life on earth was brief.

Would she survive this sorrow?
Her Father held her heart.
Could she face her tomorrow?
Knowing she and her Son would part?

Mary I share with you,
All my sorrow deep.
As one mother to another,
I with you now weep.

Until that glorious day,
When we joyfully shall meet.
Approaching our heavenly home,
And kissing Jesus feet.

Floria, what a tender loving piece. Only another mother could relate to Mary's loss. You describe it well. So sweet. Cheryl

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Floria, I know just how you feel, I too can't help but cry every time I think of how Mary responded to His loss, but I believe deep down she too knew that His love will always prevail and forever His spirit shines deep down in her heart!
