I Am Restored

My soul is full of love for Thee.
And so I humbly thank Thee Lord.
For all that Thou hast given me.
My soul Thou hast restored.

My soul is full of love for Thee.
So take it now with full accord.
As my sorrows troubled me.
My peace Thou hast restored.

And so I raise my heart to Thee.
Take all of it, take all of me.
From now through all eternity.
In Thine hands do Thou hold me.
Forevermore.

Your lovely poem reminds me of Peter first saying Jesus shouldn't be washing his feet, then wanting our Lord to wash all of him.

Gosh, I can just envision you with your hands lifted in complete reverence and surrender unto your Lord. Complete surrender and complete restoration. Again, such a beautiful spirit I feel in your poetry.

There is nothing as wonderful as the joy of restoration
except maybe the knowledge and acceptance that HE
is the only one who can truly achieve that.

And to think He never gives up nor leave us....
