Live For God

It is only when you learn to trust,
That you really start to live.
It is only when you learn to love,
That you really start to give.

When you think of others, not yourself,
Then, truly happy you will be.
When you sacrifice, for love of God,
That is when your soul's set free.

When you see the suffering in the world,
That is others pain to bear.
When you offer them a helpful hand,
That is when you learn to care.

And when God above looks down on you,
And perceives all you have done.
He then blesses you with all his grace,
Your new life has now begun.

This is so lovely, you know I tried all growing up to please my father but I
never could but I know that when my heavenly Father looks on me,
he is pleased.

Floria: This is a wonderful message we allneed to remember. My mother was the big problem in my life and it took me many years to learn I could survive without her approval.

It seems your beautiful poem of eternal wisdom has brought us all closer in our sharing of past wounds, for my father could never recieve or give the love i so longed for, but our Father in Heaven, by His Grace, heals our wounds and sets us free to finally know and realize what Love truly is!
