Planting

I do not have a farm or field
To plant in spring and watch for yield.
Nor do I live where fertile ground
Produces crops the year around.
But I can plant by word and deed
And ask God's blessing for each seed.
Rewards are great and weeds are few.
The blossoms last my whole life through!

This is beautiful wisdom at it's finest! Hugs and Happy New Year!   Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Oh, Trillium! Oh, Trillium!
I like you have no green thumb
And thus your seed has this man blessed
To put his hoe and spade to rest
And trust in God to grow what's best.

One man plants, another man waters, but God brings the increase.
