There is a path to my Father’s house Narrow and steep is the climb Easy sometimes to lose my way as I travel one day at a time The journey is often rocky but I never walk alone The reward will be worth the wait when I reach my Father’s home His door is always open His welcome so loving and kind I try not to stray from the path Keeping his word foremost in my mind Still waters along the path Greens meadows, rich and sweet A table he’s preparing for me At journeys end, when at last we meet My Father patiently watches for me He promised he’d leave me, never I’m on the path to my heavenly home where I’ll dwell with Him forever!
