A strand through the cloth and back, tender love blended colors with nature. Stitches after stitches, careful hands moved around; A smile was expressed on your face. All of sudden all smiles were lost; a drop of red and turned all into pieces. Tears dropped down from your chin But slowly you bit your thumb and moved your hands. Once again your tenderness was shown And soon the cloth was one again. Note: Each loves in different kind of tenderness, be it love between friends, family or lovers, just like the picture we sew on clothes- each is different. When we mend our love, we mend with care just like sewing. Lizzy ![]() ~The first two cup of tea is to throw away; what remains is the best of all. |

A good example of how life really is..sometimes when all seems to be going very well, the needle hits our thumb, but in the long run we can still have a beautiful garment if we are persistant. I like your perspective. |

Your poem shows a great eye for detail .. a kind of metaphore on life. Although we get poked (hurt) once in awhile, we can still go on and make something beautiful of it. -Bob |

Great analagy. Stopping too long in hurt, only tends to deepen it, doing more harm. Wisdom and courage push us on to complete what's begun. Thank you, I enjoyed this. Rae |
