To Find the Renewal of Morn Virginia Salter fresh from the shower cleansed smooth, silky newly scented clad in pressed wear crisp, clean superficial at best~ for the day shall bring the test. did I take time to ask for inner cleansing for inner renewal now, I shall pause, reflecting on my need for His precious promise, His precious blood, its purification only He can provide. then, having been blessed, to wait, as if in the upper room, for His Spirit to fill me anew. that I may go forth in Him, in His Holy will, in His Holy service, freed by His wondrous truth, His perfect power, His awesome love. ©November 13, 2001 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

VAS, This is an inner cleansing that at times seems so very hard to wait for but as in the upper room where the small crowd waited and so are we to also wait patiently upon the Lord..... He certainly is worth the wait. -Bob |

VAS; As I read your lovely poem, I was reminded of the passage of scripture which says, "Man looketh on the outward appearance, but God looketh upon the heart." We can fancy up the outward appearance, but God does see the inner man. He knows our heart, our attitudes, our thoughts. How good it is to confess sin and know the cleansing power of His blood. To be cleansed of sin is to really start the day right. This poem touched my heart. Wanda |
