Let Praises Ring

I think about the crowds He woke
Everytime He went and spoke.
The way they yearned to touch His sleeve.
It was the scribes who didn't believe!
He gathered men and they became
Disciples and they spread His name.
They came from different lives and yet
Joined their forces when they met
To walk with Him and share His word
With people who had never heard
Of forgiveness for their sin,
Or that salvation would begin
With baptism and the vow
To serve the God of Jesus now.
How many thousands heard His voice
And made that life-sustaining choice?
Now from that source so long ago,
Millions pray to let Him know
They look to Him for everything
And let their praises daily ring!

Somethings never seem to change. Good poem.

Betty; Beautifully written poem.  There will always be those who will choose to not believe until they see Him coming back.  Tragically, it will be too late at that point.  Every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess He is Lord, but to the unbeliever, He will come as their Judge.
Good writing. Wanda
