Planting

I do not have a farm or field
To plant in spring and watch for yield.
Nor do I live where fertile ground
Produces crops the year around.

But I can plant by word and deed
And ask God's blessing on each seed.
Rewards are great and weeds are few.
The blossoms last my whole life through.

Betty Lou Hebert

Inspired by Marge.  Thanks!
