This poem goes out to a very dear friend of mine.  May God grant you the peace and happiness you deserve.

I bow before God on high
Praying for the strength to try
Please Lord help me persevere
Through the trials I faced all year
Never easy, full of strife
Took the fun from my life

Grant me the courage that I need
Give me the knowhow to succeed
Lift this burden off of me
Allowing me to again be free
I turn it all over to You
As You have commanded me to do

In Your hand my future rests
So I know I will endure these tests
With You always by my side
I have no need to fear or hide
Walking by faith not by sight
You bathe me in everlasting light

I say this prayer beneath the moon
Sometimes even in the afternoon
With a true and humble heart
You allow me a brand new start
My prayer is answered with divine grace
Bringing a smile once again to my face

All writing comes
by the grace of God.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thank you all very much for your replies and prayers.  I know they will be heard and that my friend will find the strength she needs to endure the trials at hand.  I guess I was feeling a little helpless, at a loss as to what to do to help and thought this was the best way I could.  Thanks again.
