Pitter-Patter of Angel Wings

I thought I heard one early morning
at the foot of my father's bed
the soft pitter-patter of angel wings
moving gently round his head.

For sickness had left him weak
yet his spirit so alive
the angels slowly rendering him
the healing to survive.

And then to my supprise
I saw them one by one
pitter-patter all around him
till their healing work was done.

I've heard these sounds of angel wings
gently caressing those in need
giving to each a special blessing
which softly plants a seed.

For hope, for faith, for a special grace
sent from above
the pitter-patter of angel wings,
fluttering upon their face with love.

How tender and lovingly comforting is your picture of fluttering angel wings bringing hope and healing.
