In silver winged Trojan horses they came
Commandeering the innocents within their hull
They winged their away across the sky
Their destinations chosen in determined vengeance
Hate told them
That America would die

From the ashes of their evil deeds
The spirit of America arose
As true and unselfish love
Lay dormant in man's heart
America was reborn
Given a God breathed breath
A second chance
To make a choice
God or worldly idols

He's listening
As millions pray

Its funny how my Dad's sermon when I went home for Labor Day was on God diligently searching for his lost ones. *sigh* It touched me greatly of course. Does it take this sort of thing to wake us up though? I now truly believe that God IS diligently searching for his lost amongst all this tradgedy, and you are right. This is something that prompts us to make a choice, and millions or more are really praying now. Lets have hope for all of us. *sigh* Apolgies for rambling. Your poem touched me, Lady. I don't venture in here much, but this is beautiful.

I am many.

While without, we cry and we shout,
Our spirit within can't be broken.
Your piece encourages strength and peace.  Thank you and bless you,
  Rae

Also thanks for reading and giving your kind response to "Freedom Rings"

Do you suppose we needed this to bring us back to public prayer.  Joyce

We all have the duty to look within our hearts..and listen as God speaks to us. I pray we look to him for the answers.
