He weeps
as we so weep
for all lives lost
and families bereft

He weeps
that His children's hearts
filled with hate
have turned away
to evil acts
beyond imagining

He weeps
with joyful Love
as His own
who know His Heart
reach out
to heal and give
their all
for their fellow man

Tears of God
shall flood this nation
to restore and renew
our faith
and our trust
in His Eternal Love

as I read this and thought of the scenes that are emblasoned on our minds, I found myself thinking of Lot and Lot's wife

then I thought of those who were too close when the buildings collapsed, had they stopped to look

and I don't want to think about it anymore, but how can one not?

Needless to say, this was a VERY appropriate title. The entire school of USDHS sends their hearts and prayers to those involved in search and rescue, and the victims who may still be alive.
