The Eyes of Three

Whose eyes are these I think there's three; the eye of God, the eye of me,
and eye of them who disagree -- I tried to hide, but still I see
the eyes of those that follow me.

These eyes that watch I think it's queer they look within when sin is near
to pierce my heart of doubt and fear -- I wish sometimes they'd disappear
but somehow they are always here.

The eyes of three what notes they take, what must they do to stay awake
and purge my life without mistake -- I feel it's all for heaven's sake,
but from these eyes I get no break.

Indeed, each eye is in its place, a spectacle upon each face
with Love abounding full of Grace -- I know they watch with warm embrace
and move my life without a trace.

I really enjoyed your poem. I guess we are most aware of the "eyes" when we really need to be.
