The Journey God took me on a journey. It lasted many years. He provided shelter. Protection from my fears. I know He never left me, Though sometimes out of sight. Even in the darkness, He led me with His light. We traveled many places. Emotionally, as well. He was there to save me, Too many times to tell. Our passage isn't over And how long will it be? Even the longest of journeys begins with the first step. However it always seems so much better when traveled with a companion. The imagery here reminds me of another poem... 'Footprints in the Sand"... and both are so beautifuly inspiring. Thank you Trillium for the reminder. |
