How thankful we are for
Gifts from Heavens door
All the joy the day brings
Ain't it only good things

That we're thankful for

Problems that we have galore
Every task we might abhor
Hills and valleys hard to climb
Is it all a waste of time

Are we thankful anymore

For it is the rough times
And the hills that we did climb
That make our spirits strong
And helped our life along

Are we thankful evermore?

Joyce, DA, and Betty, thank you for such wonderful comments.

Angel, I'm truly happy it brought rememberance around for you!

It all came about from an incident, or should I say an on going incident at work. It made stop to think how easy it is to get caught up complaining about this and that.
How thankful I am for my job, and even though I had had a really rough day, I came home and thanked God for it.

It made me think how often we thank Him when things go right, but those hard times are what makes us stronger, and how many times did we thank Him for that....
