The Insurance Policy

When I was a young man,
I thought insurance was great.
I tried to find my place,
but rejection was my fate.
I went on interviews
wearing a suit for disguise.
Some thought I was too young
while others just gave me lies.
Some they would hire me,
but their plans were not legit.
I knew right from the start
that those characters weren't it.
Some were very wealthy
and still others were quite poor.
The more and more I tried,
the more I had to sell more.
I stayed home and read books
on all the different plans
and pretty soon it seemed
I was the best in the land.
Now, they have come knocking
and are searching at my door
but I have decided
I'm not selling anymore.

Jesus Christ is a relationship not an Insurance Policy.

How right you are!  Good poem and I enjoyed reading it.
