I did the crime *****He paid the price, I did the sin *****He sacrificed. I moved with pride *****He bore my shame, I lost it all *****He called my nmae! I limped t'ward Him *****He stretched forth His hand, I bowed myself low *****He DID understand! I cried, "Dear LORD" *****He said, "I'm here!" I said, "Don't leave!" *****He said, "Have no fear!" I did break down *****He lifted me, I was restored *****He shared His purity. I am redeemed *****He made it so, I praise His Name He saved my soul! Every Day's a Blessing |

Wow, what a contrast you have brought to light between our humanity and God's Deity... I know all of us who have come to the Lord could compose a very similar list if we would stop and realize just a fraction of all God has done and continues to do for us all in our lives. Your poem is wonderful... to God be the Kingdom, the Glory, and the Honor for ever and ever. Amen. Bob <>< |
