A morning mist drapes the lake, As willows weep near shore, Bursting cattails on the edge, Do their dance of evermore. Blossoms of the lily pads, Wake on this just born day, Petals soft as angel's wings, Emit a slight bouquet. Barely seen in fading night, Dim stars slowly take leave, Subdued by gentle dawning ~ Another day is received. |
